Van Horbourg

«VAN HORBOURG is a non-profit curator's collective and exhibition space based in Zurich, working with national and international contemporary art. Van Horbourg was founded in Basel in 2009 by the art historians Sandra Oehy, Roger Meier, Christian Wirtz and musician Oliver Falk. Since November 2011 it is run by Sandra Oehy and Roger Meier. From 2010 to June 2012 we were temporarily located in Basel in a post industrial wide space, used as a production facility for lemonades and sodas in the twenties and thirties of the last century. The program of the first two seasons (2010/11) consisted mainly of soloshows with young contemporary artists. The project in Basel ended 2012 with a two-parted exhibition collaboration with gallery DREI (Cologne).
August 2012 to December 2013 we were located in a permanent space in Zurich's Sihlpost building. The focus of the exhibition programm was on a more collaborative approach. During that period we invited Le Foyer - Gespräche/ Conversations to be partner in situ: lefoyer-lefoyer.blogspot.ch/ . Short film screenigs accompanying exhibitions are curated by Aline Juchler.»Quelle: www.vanhorbourg.com/about.html, Zugriff vom 21.06.2017
